  • Codelco Norte

    Codelco Norte was created in 2002, as a result of the merger of the Chuquicamata and Radomiro Tomic divisions. The Chuquicamata mining complex is located 1,650 kilometers north of Chile’s capital city, 2,870 meters above the sea level. (sigue leyendo).

      The Teniente division, began exploitation activities in 1904, and is located eighty kilometers South of Santiago and 2,500 meters above the sea level, focuses its operations in the exploitation of the underground copper mine, which is the largest of its kind in the World, with more than 2,400 kilometers of underground drifts.
